Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center recently participated in the Career Fair at Harlan County High School. Alli Helton and Deanie Rigney talked with students about the job opportunities available at the facility. Students got to practice taking blood pressures on a Blood Pressure Training Arm. Students enjoyed participating in the simulation gadgets that were brought.

The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) honored Gail Hensley, administrator of Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center, with the 2019 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award. The leadership award was celebrated at ACHCA’s Annual Convocation and Exposition in Louisville in March. Only 7 percent of facilities nationwide qualified.
