Country Living was the theme at Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center the other day. Staff and residents started the day with a big country breakfast. The Harlan County Extension Office came out and helped the residents make butter and staff served it with delicious hot biscuits. After lunch there was a Scavenger Hunt for the employees. Jack Carmical and friends came to play music for everyone on the porch while the residents broke up a bushel of green beans. Two of the nurse supervisors brought their four-wheelers and took the residents riding around the area. The day ended with some good ol’ ice cream cones.
